Bras off Broadway is back for another year! The purpose of this event is to raise money for patients in the F-M area after a breast cancer diagnosis. We provide direct patient support to those in need after their diagnosis. Join us for another year of fabulous bras, a great dinner, drinks, and an evening full of fun.

Music in the Park
If you're looking for a fun way to spend your summer evenings, you won't want to miss Music in the Park!
This fun concert series travels to two different parks throughout the summer, bringing live music to your local community. Whether you're a rock, pop, jazz, or country fan, there's something for everyone at Music in the Park.
Join is for our raincheck Music in the Park event at Broadway Square on August 29 with the energetic sounds of Tailspin! Founded by four friends in a basement, Tailspin has grown to perform high-energy rock, pop, and more across the region. Their love for making music and creating memorable times guarantees an exciting start to our summer concert series. And of course, drinks will be flowing from our neighbors at Rosewild.
So pack a blanket, grab some snacks, and head to your the park for an unforgettable night of music under the stars. Remember to invite your friends and family to join in on the fun!

Dog Bowl Class
Show your pup some love and surprise them with their own custom dog bowl! You will build a down bowl, add 3D letters to spell their name, and paint the name a color of you choice. From there your bowls will be clear glazed, fired, and will be ready for pick up in 2-3 weeks!

NDSU Chamber Music Festival: Chamber Concerts
NDSU's Challey School of Music presents:
10th Annual NDSU Chamber Music Festival
August 26 – 29, 2024
Join us to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the NDSU Chamber Music Festival with four days of thrilling chamber music!
This year the festival includes two special performances of Igor Stravinsky’s 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑅𝑎𝑘𝑒'𝑠 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑠, as well as two chamber concerts featuring violinist Grace Park, members of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra, NDSU students and faculty, and other musicians from the Fargo-Moorhead community.

River Paddling Excursion
A leisurely paced group paddle with a local expert sharing their knowledge of the Red River.
A well-cared-for river is a fun river. Learn about what it takes to keep the Red River healthy, the importance of conserving our waterways and what you can do to help!
All skill levels are welcome! Arrive by 5:30 pm to sign in and get your equipment (life jackets, paddles and vessels). Just before 6 p.m. there will be a basics of canoeing, kayaking and safety. Then we hit the water!
Pre-registration is required. $10 per person if you are providing your own vessel, $15 per person if needing canoe or kayak rental. Rentals available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Register early as registration closes at 20 vessels/excursion.

Candle Making Day
Light up your state or home pride with this super unique candle making option! Create either a brown MN or white ND wood vessel candle with Tina of FSR to get it lit. You'll create and customize a 10 oz coconut wax candle with 3 wood wicks as you learn the basics of candle making. You can keep it classic with a vanilla coconut scent or choose a custom state scent: MN fragrances: Up North (pine forest). Lady Slipper (salt and orchid), or Northern Lights (lavender, rose, ozone) and ND: Prarie Rose and Prarie Wildflower! Once your candle is ready you can add a ribbon for some cute flair. Your candle will be about 6"x10".
Your registration includes: supplies and instruction to customize a candle. You'll choose your state shape during check out with your ticket.
This workshop is Wed, Aug 14 6pm at the Unglued Craftatorium at Brewhalla - 1702 1st Ave N, Fargo, ND 58102 (attached to Drekker Brewing - you'll find this workshop room on Brewhalla's 2nd floor!). Ages middle school to adult. Each attendee must be a ticket holder.

Yoga at Broadway Square
Join us all summer long at Broadway Square as you breathe in the fresh air, soak up the sunshine, and flow through a guided yoga class!
Downtown Yoga will be hosting several weekly 60 minute, All Levels Power Flow yoga classes at Broadway Square this summer. Classes are held Mondays at 5:30pm, Wednesdays at 12pm, and a few select Sundays at 10:30am.
Monday and Wednesday classes will be led by our awesome Instructor Gina. Sunday morning classes will rotate between a mix of experienced DTY Instructors.
Classes start June 1st and run through Sept 28th. All of these classes are donation based. In the case of inclement weather, these classes will move indoors to our studio across the street from Broadway Square.

Downtown Fargo Street Fair
What to expect:
Every year the fair welcomes hundreds of vendors and over 150,000 visitors over three days. The Street Fair is full of food, shopping, entertainment, and more! Join us in beautiful Downtown Fargo to stroll the streets, browse vendors from all over the country, eat food from every region, and taste local wines and beers, all while enjoying music and entertainment.
Entertainment:
Enjoy hours of entertainment in the heart of the Street Fair at Broadway Square! This entertainment hub is located within Broadway Square at 2nd Ave and Broadway and will feature live music, entertainment, and activities throughout the three days of Fair fun!
Vendors:
You're bound to find something with the eight blocks of vendor booths, including handmade/handcrafted items, imported goods, and a large variety of foods from local to nationwide.

Remember that Broadway from Main to 7th Ave will be closed for the vendor tents and many Avenues along the route. No worries here about navigating the streets of downtown Fargo with your car. Park in the Moorhead Center Mall parking lot and hop on the link bus for FREE! The Link FM bus runs on a 20-ish-minute circuit and drops you off at the Downtown Fargo Street Fair! The LinkFM route will run from 9:30 am - 9:30 pm Thursday-Friday, and 9:30 am - 5:30 pm on Saturday.

Pete Davidson is a celebrated stand-up comedian, actor, writer and producer. In 2023, Davidson starred in Peacock’s “Bupkis," a semi-autobiographical comedy series he also co-created, co-wrote and executive produced. He will begin production on season 2 later this year.
Davidson was a cast member on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” from 2014-2022, where his singular Weekend Update features and original music videos garnered millions of views. He recently returned to Studio 8H to host the 49th season premiere of “SNL,” earning rave reviews. Davidson shot his first one-hour stand-up special for Comedy Central in 2016 and was named one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 the same year.
In 2020, he released the stand-up special “Pete Davidson: Alive From New York.” Davidson was listed as one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People of 2022. On January 9, 2024 he released his new Netflix Standup Special “Pete Davidson: Turbo Fonzarelli” and is currently out performing brand new material with the “Pete Davidson Prehab Tour.” In 2020, Davidson co-wrote, executive produced, and starred in the critically acclaimed film “The King of Staten Island.” Additional film work includes “Dumb Money,” “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,” “Trainwreck,” “Big Time Adolescence,” “Set It Up,” “Meet Cute,” and “Bodies Bodies Bodies.” Upcoming projects include “The Home,” “Wizards!,” and “I Slept with Joey Ramone."

Music in the Square
Live music flourishes at Broadway Square!
Bring your blankets and stretch out on the leisure lawn, or use one of the many cafe tables and chairs around The Square while you enjoy snacks, beverages and live music in the heart of downtown Fargo.
Snacks, beverages and food vendor options are available on-site for purchase. Alcohol from off-site is not allowed at Broadway Square, but new this year is the cash bar service provided by Rosewild, offering drinks that can be enjoyed responsibly at The Square during these performances.

Fargo Police Community Picnic
Join us at the Annual Fargo Police Community Picnic for an evening of fun at Broadway Square on Wednesday, June 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
This last year has been challenging for our department, but our community has consistently reminded us of why we choose this profession. You’ve shown us your love and support – now it’s our turn.
Meet our officers behind the badge, play games and win some prizes. We'll have free treats from Old Dutch Foods and CassClay Creamery while supplies last. Participants can get a free caricature picture sponsored by Xcel Energy and kids can have their face painted by PikaDilly Face Painting.
The FPD will also have a coloring station set up for kids to design a new sticker for the FPD. Following the community picnic, one drawing will be selected and made into a sticker following a community vote on our social media channels.
Musical entertainment will be provided by @Plantium Plus DJ and the evening will end with a special performance from the Buffalo River Singers, Drums and Dancers.

RiverArts ft. Gina Powers Band + Petting Zoo
On five Tuesdays in the summer, Moorhead Parks and Recreation presents RiverArts, of which four take place at the Moorhead Farmers Market. Join us for cultural performances, artist-led demonstrations and activities, inflatables, yard games, a photo station, Imagination Playground, interactive mural and more fun for everyone! Opening performances are 5:30-6 pm with headlining performances 6-8 pm. Viking Ship Park nights feature free carriage rides and free Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County museum admission.
Bring a chair or blanket, enjoy the live music, and engage with community organizations and vendors! Purchase hot dogs, brats, soda and chips from the Moorhead Midday-Central Lions, and adult beverages from Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre and Swing Barrel Brewing Co. on varying evenings! Come enjoy the fun!
