Self-guided tours are exactly what they sound like: an opportunity to explore a property and see if it makes sense for you all on your own.

Centric Management currently has self-guided tours powered by SmartRent for Mercantile, Kesler, and The Landing, all buildings opened in 2022 and located in downtown Fargo.

So no leasing agent?

Not for the tour! A property manager from our team will follow up with you within a few days of your tour, but you (and your roommate/partner/spouse) will be able to get to know the building all on your own, which gives you the best opportunity to take the time you need in determining if a building is the right fit for you without feeling like you might be pushed to make a decision before you’re ready. Think of it like the self-checkout of apartment tours.

Wait, so I can just walk in?

Well, not quite. Mercantile, Kesler, and The Landing are all secure buildings, and the safety of our residents is a top priority. There are a few terms and conditions when you go to book a tour online, including agreeing to take a photo of yourself and your ID to verify your identity before you’ll be provided with door access.

How do I know where I’m going?

Not to worry! You’ll be able to explore without leaving a trail of breadcrumbs behind to find your way out. During your self-guided tour, your location will be pinpointed on a map of the building as you move around, so you can always tell where you are on the property.

What if I have questions?

We would love to answer them! You can either wait to ask a property manager when we follow up in the days after your tour, or you can contact us directly during your tour. Even when our office is closed, our phone line is answered by a listing agent, and you’ll be able to call us right from the SmartRent tour page.

Okay, so I toured the building. How do I apply if I decide I want to live there?

Once you’re ready to take the next step and apply, you can easily set up an account and complete the application on the property website by selecting “Applicant” from the Log In dropdown.
